The “Good Thing Market” is an association of farmer who sell their seasonal agricoltural products directly to consumers in fair trade and without any other commercial passage. Most farmers are over 60s and they are teaching farm work to their sons or grandsons. Sell of products is done in square or at farm.
Learning objectives:
farmers acquire new competence regarding direct sell, fair trade and giving informations to consumers. Over 60s pass their experiences to younger farmers. Over 60's feel useful because their experiences will not be lost and will be an important job opportunity for youngest. Over 60's mantein social contact and relationship because their work directly on the place

Evaluation of the activity
The activity has grown over the years and farmers involved have doubled.The territory extends from the Samoggia Valley to all the Bolognese Apennines. Sales have doubled and the market has achieved national fame.

Farmers have found in this project an opportunity for sales that otherwise would not be there because they are small farms with a reduced production with different range of products.
