Interpretation of the custom Lazaruvane - a ritual connected to the coming of Spring and its specific ritual songs, dances, national costumes and ornaments.
Learning objectives:
The participants obtain additional knowledge in Bulgarian folklore, traditions and customs that contributes to the preservation of the Bulgarian identity.

EVALUATION OF ACTIVITY
Evaluation of the Learning Objectives
The participants were acquainted with the organization and implementation of the custom Lazaruvane. They have learned traditional songs and dances and reproduced the spring ritual. There was a successful transfer of knowledge from the older to the younger generation.
Evaluation of the activity
There were some difficulties in the implementation of the specific ritual songs and dances. There has been realized a positive dialogue between generations.
Evaluation of what was learned by the participants
The volunteers - ethnographers and historians are satisfied of the opportunity to transfer their knowledge to the teenagers. Among the young participants an interest in Bulgarian folklore has been provoked.
Evaluation of what staff have learned
To be more easier and quick in adopting knowledge the activity must be carried out regularly.
