Evaluation of the Learning Objectives
The participants learned to use the databases, enabling them to search for information regarding genealogy themselves
Evaluation of the activity
12 citizens had signed up – 10 participated. One of the databases requires a login name, which can be obtained by a free sign up to the database – this presented some difficulties
Evaluation of what was learned by the participants
The participants familiarized themselves with the databases
Evaluation of what staff have learned
It is an advantage to alternate between demonstration of databases and participants doing assignments
