  Teaching seniors how to use web-based applications in case to facilitate the contact with the young generation and to enhance quality of live.
  Learning objectives:
  People will acquire basic knowledge in using the web applications as Skype, ICQ as well as in working with the interface of the most popular portals.

EVALUATION OF ACTIVITY
  Evaluation of the Learning Objectives
  A simple presentation regarding the communication channels was made. The seniors were encouraged to try using different communication cannels in order to acquire new skills.
  Evaluation of the activity
  Computers need to be working properly. There must be a high speed Internet connection.
  Evaluation of what was learned by the participants
  The participants learnt how to create their own profiles in different networks – i.e. email account, skype account etc. They learnt how to communicate each other.
  Evaluation of what staff have learned
  The staff determined what make difficulties to the seniors in using these kinds of communication channels and which the best way of teaching them is.

  What would you change to improve activity?
  The need of such a kind of education was initiated by many participants. The future change could be made into the length of learning process because of the participants’ computer basic skills.

  Must be paid attention on the target group computer basic skills as well as the IT knowledge.

  This activity could be extended by using methods of sending attached files and using voice and video.
